Delicious and healthy dog treats made with fresh parsley and mint to naturally freshen your pup’s breath.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves, chopped
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the ingredients by combining the chopped parsley and mint in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the whole wheat flour and mix until combined.
  4. Incorporate the egg and olive oil, adding a splash of water if the dough feels too dry.
  5. Knead the dough gently on a floured surface for about a minute and roll it out to ½-inch thickness.
  6. Cut out shapes using a cookie cutter.
  7. Bake on a lined baking sheet for about 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week or refrigerate for longer shelf life. These treats can also be frozen.
