Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup mint leaves, chopped
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the ingredients by combining the chopped parsley and mint in a mixing bowl.
- Add the whole wheat flour and mix until combined.
- Incorporate the egg and olive oil, adding a splash of water if the dough feels too dry.
- Knead the dough gently on a floured surface for about a minute and roll it out to ½-inch thickness.
- Cut out shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Bake on a lined baking sheet for about 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to a week or refrigerate for longer shelf life. These treats can also be frozen.
