- 2 cups cheese crackers
- 1 cup nuts (almonds or pecans)
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 cup melted butter or olive oil
- Optional: Dried herbs (rosemary or thyme), mini pretzels, popcorn
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine cheese crackers and nuts in a large bowl.
- Mix melted butter or olive oil with spices in a separate bowl.
- Pour spice mixture over cheese crackers and nuts, stirring to coat.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
- Cool completely before serving.
Notes
Stir halfway through baking for even toasting. Check for golden brown color to avoid burning.
