Ingredients
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 10 ounces mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Food coloring (pastel shades)
- Sprinkles or candy decorations
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat. Once melted, gradually add the marshmallows, stirring until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and incorporate the food coloring until evenly mixed.
- Add the Rice Krispies to the pan and fold until well coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan using a spatula or wax paper, then shape into egg forms using buttered hands.
- Decorate with sprinkles or candy while the mixture is still warm.
- Let the treats cool completely in the pan before cutting into shapes or serving.
Notes
Store leftover treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. They also freeze well; just wrap each in plastic and thaw at room temperature.
