Ingredients
- 1 package Oreo Cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup candy melts or chocolate (white, milk, or colored)
- Sprinkles or edible decorations
Instructions
- Start by crushing the Oreo cookies in a food processor or by hand in a sealed bag.
- Combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl.
- Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls, about 1-inch in diameter.
- Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt your chocolate or candy melts according to package instructions.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then place back on parchment and decorate with sprinkles.
- Refrigerate again until the coating is firm.
Notes
For a lighter alternative, use low-fat cream cheese. A small cookie scoop helps achieve uniformity in ball size.
