  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a standard 9×5 inch loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Mix in melted butter, sugar, and beaten eggs until combined.
  5. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Incorporate chocolate chips gently into the batter.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes, checking for doneness around 55 minutes.
