- 1 cup natural peanut butter
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup chicken or beef broth
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- Optional: sweet potatoes, pumpkin puree, or shredded carrots
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix in a large bowl the unsalted peanut butter, rolled oats, and broth. Stir in the whole wheat flour until well incorporated.
- Add any optional ingredients like sweet potatoes or pumpkin to the mixture.
- Shape about a tablespoon of the mixture around each pill.
- Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool completely before serving or storing in an airtight container.
Notes
Ensure peanut butter is free from xylitol, which is toxic to dogs. Store leftovers for up to a week in the refrigerator or freeze for up to three months.
