Instructions

- Incorporate heavy cream, a teaspoon at a time, until desired consistency is achieved.
- Fold in ground ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Taste and adjust spices as needed.
- Use immediately on cooled gingerbread or store in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute unsalted butter with vegan butter and use almond milk instead of heavy cream.
