Delightful Pork and Sauerkraut Spring Rolls, combining savory pork and tangy sauerkraut in a crispy wrapper, perfect for gatherings.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork or pork shoulder
  • 2 cups sauerkraut
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill or chives, chopped
  • 10 spring roll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground pork in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauerkraut; stir and sauté for another 3-5 minutes.
  3. Stir in fresh herbs, seasoning with salt and pepper; let cool slightly.
  4. Place a spring roll wrapper on a flat surface, spoon in the pork mixture, and fold tightly.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan until shimmering. Fry the rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels; serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

For a lighter option, brush rolls with oil and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes, turning halfway through. Avoid overstuffing to prevent bursting.
