- 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips (bittersweet or semisweet)
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat.
- Mix the brown sugar and granulated sugar, then combine with the melted chocolate.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Fold in the flour and sea salt until just combined.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until edges are set but the center is slightly soft.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then let cool completely on a wire rack before cutting.
- Enjoy warm or at room temperature, optionally with a sprinkle of sea salt.
