Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sharp Parmesan, shredded
- 1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
- 1/2 cup cheddar, shredded
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the Spaghetti: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- Sauté the Beef: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add ground beef and brown for 5-7 minutes. Incorporate garlic, onion, and bell pepper, and sauté for another 5 minutes until softened.
- Season and Create the Sauce: Add Cajun seasoning to the beef mixture and stir to combine. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer gently.
- Cheesy Goodness: Reduce heat and slowly incorporate the cheese blend until melted, adjusting with reserved pasta water for creaminess.
- Combine and Serve: Toss cooked spaghetti into the skillet and mix well with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish and Enjoy: Serve immediately with fresh parsley on top.
