A hearty and comforting dish combining seasoned beef, creamy cheese sauce, and tender spaghetti.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sharp Parmesan, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cheddar, shredded
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the Spaghetti: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Beef: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add ground beef and brown for 5-7 minutes. Incorporate garlic, onion, and bell pepper, and sauté for another 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Season and Create the Sauce: Add Cajun seasoning to the beef mixture and stir to combine. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer gently.
  4. Cheesy Goodness: Reduce heat and slowly incorporate the cheese blend until melted, adjusting with reserved pasta water for creaminess.
  5. Combine and Serve: Toss cooked spaghetti into the skillet and mix well with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish and Enjoy: Serve immediately with fresh parsley on top.
