Ingredients
- 1 Pie Crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 6 large Eggs
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Cheese (sharp cheddar or Gruyere)
- 1 cup sliced Mushrooms (cremini or shiitake)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Thyme or Rosemary (chopped)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Pie Crust and set aside.
- Sauté minced garlic in butter, then add sliced mushrooms until browned.
- Whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, herbs, and cheese.
- Layer sautéed mushrooms and garlic in the pie crust, then pour in the egg mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden-brown.
- Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
You can prepare this quiche ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator to bake later. Great for busy mornings!
