Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually add this to the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the marshmallows, chocolate chips, and nuts.
  6. Drop mounds of dough onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before cooling. Cookies can be frozen for up to three months.
