Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken drumettes
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 orange
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together lemon juice, orange juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Add the fresh herbs and mix well.
- Add the drumettes to the marinade and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Arrange the marinated drumettes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning. Optional: broil for an additional 3-4 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). For a twist, use grapefruits or limes instead of the citrus fruits.
