Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup chocolate chips (milk, dark, or semi-sweet)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy and smooth (about 3 minutes).
  4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, ensuring a smooth dough forms.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows evenly throughout the dough.
  7. Drop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving enough space between each cookie to allow for spreading.
  8. Bake for about 10-12 minutes; they should be set at the edges but still soft in the center.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to finish cooling.

Notes

For softer cookies, don’t overmix the dough and consider chilling it for 30 minutes before baking. You can add a pinch of sea salt on top before baking for extra flavor.
