Ingredients
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line an 8-inch round springform pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sugar, beating until smooth. Gradually add eggs, mixing thoroughly before stirring in heavy cream, vanilla, and salt.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is deeply caramelized and cracks form.
- Allow to cool for 30 minutes at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
For a deeper caramel flavor, increase baking time slightly. The cheesecake can also be paired with fresh whipped cream or berry coulis.
