Ingredients
- 8 oz cremini or shiitake mushrooms, finely chopped
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 sheet buttery puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh thyme and rosemary, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Instructions
- Clean and chop mushrooms, garlic, and herbs. Rinse cranberries.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant; add mushrooms and cook until tender.
- Add cranberries and season with salt, pepper, and herbs. Let cool.
- Mix sautéed ingredients with cream cheese until well combined.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares.
- Spoon filling onto half of each square, fold over, and seal edges.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
Notes
Serve warm with fresh herbs or a balsamic glaze for added flavor.
