Deliciously soft and chewy cookies filled with dark chocolate and crunchy walnuts, perfect for sharing and savoring.

  • Total Time: 27 minutes
  • Yield: 24 cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
  6. Drop portions of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Avoid over-mixing the dough for softer cookies. You can substitute walnuts with pecans or skip them for a nut-free version.
