Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh walnuts
- 1 cup sliced fresh figs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small handful fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine walnuts, figs, honey, olive oil, chopped rosemary, and a pinch of salt.
- Toss to coat the ingredients well with honey and oil.
- Spread the mixture evenly on the baking sheet.
- Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and taste for salt adjustment.
Notes
For a lower-sugar version, substitute honey with maple syrup. Ensure not to overcrowd the baking sheet while roasting.
