Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh walnuts
  • 1 cup sliced fresh figs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small handful fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine walnuts, figs, honey, olive oil, chopped rosemary, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Toss to coat the ingredients well with honey and oil.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly on the baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and taste for salt adjustment.

Notes

For a lower-sugar version, substitute honey with maple syrup. Ensure not to overcrowd the baking sheet while roasting.
