A comforting and flavorful dish featuring crispy baked chicken drumsticks coated in a creamy paprika yogurt sauce.

  • Total Time: 70 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks, skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, smoked paprika, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a large bowl or resealable bag, add chicken drumsticks and coat them with the yogurt sauce. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, arrange the chicken drumsticks in a single layer, and bake for 35-40 minutes or until the skin is golden and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  5. If desired, broil for an extra 2-3 minutes for added crispiness, checking closely to avoid burning.
  6. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, avoid crowding the baking sheet and let the chicken marinate properly.
