Ingredients
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 cup strong brewed Thai tea
- ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups marshmallows
Instructions
- Brew 1 cup of strong Thai tea with boiling water. Allow to steep for 5-8 minutes, then strain. Mix in ¼ cup of sweetened condensed milk while still warm, and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 4 cups of marshmallows, stirring continuously until melted and smooth.
- Remove the skillet from heat and gradually fold in 6 cups of Rice Krispies. Drizzle in the Thai tea mixture and stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch pan, pressing it down tightly to hold together. Allow to cool for about 30 minutes.
- Cut into squares and enjoy! Optionally garnish with colorful sprinkles or powdered sugar.
Notes
Stir gently to maintain the crispy texture; use fresh marshmallows for best results.
