Quick and delightful Thai Tea Rice Krispie Treats, combining classic flavors with a fragrant twist.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup strong brewed Thai tea
  • ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cups marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Brew 1 cup of strong Thai tea with boiling water. Allow to steep for 5-8 minutes, then strain. Mix in ¼ cup of sweetened condensed milk while still warm, and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 4 cups of marshmallows, stirring continuously until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove the skillet from heat and gradually fold in 6 cups of Rice Krispies. Drizzle in the Thai tea mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch pan, pressing it down tightly to hold together. Allow to cool for about 30 minutes.
  5. Cut into squares and enjoy! Optionally garnish with colorful sprinkles or powdered sugar.
