- 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup festive sprinkles
- Optional: 1 cup nuts or pretzels
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the white chocolate mixture over the Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl and gently fold to coat each piece.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar over the coated cereal and mix again until evenly coated.
- Add sprinkles (and nuts or pretzels if using) and toss to combine.
- Spread the mixture out on parchment paper to cool and set. Package in festive bags or jars for sharing.
Notes
Be patient while melting the chocolate. Gently fold the cereal to maintain its crunch, and store in an airtight container for up to a week.
