Deliciously cheesy pizza rolls filled with garlic and rich Parmesan, perfect for a snack or appetizer.

  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon mixed fresh herbs (oregano, basil, parsley)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: If using store-bought dough, let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. If making your own, roll it out to a rectangular shape approximately ¼ inch thick.
  2. Mix Fillings: In a bowl, combine minced garlic, melted butter, grated Parmesan, and herbs. Ensure it’s well mixed for even flavor distribution.
  3. Assemble the Rolls: Spread the filling over the dough evenly, leaving a small border around the edges. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Bake: Arrange the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle extra Parmesan. Bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Serve Hot: Enjoy fresh from the oven, optionally with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For extra crispiness, use a baking stone and do not overcrowd the baking sheet.
