Ingredients
- Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon mixed fresh herbs (oregano, basil, parsley)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: If using store-bought dough, let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. If making your own, roll it out to a rectangular shape approximately ¼ inch thick.
- Mix Fillings: In a bowl, combine minced garlic, melted butter, grated Parmesan, and herbs. Ensure it’s well mixed for even flavor distribution.
- Assemble the Rolls: Spread the filling over the dough evenly, leaving a small border around the edges. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into bite-sized pieces.
- Bake: Arrange the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle extra Parmesan. Bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve Hot: Enjoy fresh from the oven, optionally with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For extra crispiness, use a baking stone and do not overcrowd the baking sheet.
