Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together in a large bowl until fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and mix in orange zest until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture; mix until just combined.
- Fold in cranberries and any optional ingredients.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
