  • 1 to 1.5 cups fresh or frozen cranberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  4. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together in a large bowl until fluffy.
  5. Beat in the egg and mix in orange zest until combined.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture; mix until just combined.
  7. Fold in cranberries and any optional ingredients.
  8. Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden.
  10. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
