  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup onion, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional spices: Worcestershire sauce, ground mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, onion, herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Add the eggs and mix to combine.
  4. Take a portion of the meat mixture, flatten it in your hand, place a small cube of cheese in the center, then wrap the meat around the cheese and seal it well.
  5. Place the stuffed bites on a greased baking sheet, ensuring space between them.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
