A festive and visually stunning wreath made with sausage, cream cheese, and fresh herbs wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough, perfect for holiday gatherings.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 tube of crescent roll dough
  • 1 lb sausage (Italian, breakfast, or turkey)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat, then mix in garlic and herbs, cooking until fragrant.
  3. In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese with the cooked sausage mixture, mixing well.
  4. Lay out the crescent rolls on a large baking sheet, pressing seams together to form a continuous sheet.
  5. Add spoonfuls of the sausage mixture onto the dough, fold the dough over to encase the filling, and shape it into a circular wreath.
  6. Brush melted butter over the wreath and sprinkle with additional herbs and cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, drizzle with honey or balsamic glaze before serving. Fresh herbs enhance flavor significantly.
