- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 1 cup pecans, chopped and toasted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for pecan topping)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup whole milk
Instructions
- Prepare the Pecan Topping: In a skillet over medium heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter and stir in 1 cup of chopped pecans and 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Sauté until coated and fragrant, then set aside to cool.
- Make the Cheesecake Layer: Blend 16 oz of softened cream cheese with 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in 2 cups of whipped topping.
- Assemble the Trifle: In a glass bowl or individual cups, layer 1/2 cup of graham cracker crumbs, 1 cup of cheesecake mixture, and sprinkle of pecan topping. Repeat until full.
- Chill: Cover and chill for at least 240 minutes (4 hours) or overnight.
- Serve: Garnish with extra pecans and whipped cream if desired.
