Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar or goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cranberry sauce, garlic, and herbs until creamy.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry to 1/8 inch thick on a floured surface.
  4. Cut the pastry into 4-inch squares.
  5. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square.
  6. Seal the pastry by folding over and pressing the edges.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  9. Cool briefly before serving warm.

Notes

Try adding sautéed mushrooms or red pepper flakes for additional flavor. Serve warm with dipping sauces.
