Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup sharp cheddar or goat cheese, crumbled
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cranberry sauce, garlic, and herbs until creamy.
- Roll out the puff pastry to 1/8 inch thick on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into 4-inch squares.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square.
- Seal the pastry by folding over and pressing the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Cool briefly before serving warm.
Notes
Try adding sautéed mushrooms or red pepper flakes for additional flavor. Serve warm with dipping sauces.
