Ingredients
- 8 oz Egg Noodles or Spaghetti
- 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 2 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (parsley, basil, chives), chopped
- 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Boil Water: Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil. Season generously with salt.
- Cook the Noodles: Add your choice of noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Sauté Garlic: In a skillet over medium heat, melt unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.
- Toss the Noodles: Once your noodles are cooked and drained, add them directly to the skillet with the sautéed garlic. Toss to coat.
- Add Fresh Herbs: Off the heat, mix in freshly chopped herbs and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. If desired, fold in Parmesan cheese.
- Serve Immediately: Serve hot, garnished with extra herbs and cheese if desired.
Notes
Feel free to substitute noodles with gluten-free pasta or butter with olive oil. Add vegetables for extra nutrition.
