Instructions
- Cook the boba pearls by bringing water to a boil and adding the pearls; follow package instructions (usually 5-7 minutes).
- While the boba is cooking, whisk matcha powder with a splash of hot water in a bowl until smooth.
- In another cup, combine the prepared matcha with milk, sweetener, and ice; stir or shake well.
- Once the boba is cooked, rinse under cold water, place in a glass, and pour over the matcha mixture to enjoy.
Notes
To prevent clumping, always sift the matcha before mixing. Also, avoid letting the boba sit in syrup for too long to maintain their chewiness.
