Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 2 tablespoons paprika (sweet or smoked)
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro) for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, paprika, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with a paper towel.
- Coat the drumsticks in the marinade and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the drumsticks without crowding.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and juices run clear, flipping halfway through.
- Mix additional yogurt with garlic, herbs, and paprika for the dipping sauce.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, ensure the chicken isn’t overcrowded on the baking sheet. You can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
