Ingredients
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 8 oz dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, blend together the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, sweetened condensed milk, and peppermint extract until a thick dough forms.
- Dust hands with powdered sugar, roll the dough into balls, and flatten into discs about 1/4 inch thick on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave until smooth, adding vegetable oil for shine if desired.
- Dip each chilled patty into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
- Place back on the parchment-lined sheet and chill until the chocolate sets, about 30 minutes.

Notes
For a lighter option, substitute sweetened condensed milk with milk and a bit of sugar, and use semi-sweet chocolate if preferred. Crush peppermint candies for added texture.
