- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter

- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Prepare the baking tray: Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- Toast the nuts: In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the mixed nuts for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
- Make the caramel: In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the sugar, stirring constantly until it turns golden brown (about 5-8 minutes).
- Combine: Quickly add toasted nuts to the caramel along with vanilla extract and salt. Stir until nuts are coated.
- Spread and cool: Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly. Allow it to cool completely.
- Break and enjoy: Once hardened, break into pieces and enjoy. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
