A delightful blend of creamy brie, flaky crust, sweet honey, and aromatic thyme, perfect for festive gatherings or cozy evenings.

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 2-3 tablespoons of honey
  • Fresh thyme (to taste)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If frozen, thaw the puff pastry for about 30 minutes.
  3. Slice a few slits in the top of the Brie.
  4. Sprinkle fresh thyme over the Brie.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry and place the Brie in the center.
  6. Fold the pastry over the cheese and pinch to secure.
  7. Brush the outside with an egg wash for shine (optional).
  8. Bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  9. Once baked, drizzle honey over the top and garnish with thyme.
  10. Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm with a selection of crackers or fruits. You can add fruit preserves for extra sweetness.
