Ingredients
- 1 wheel of Brie cheese
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 2-3 tablespoons of honey
- Fresh thyme (to taste)
- 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- If frozen, thaw the puff pastry for about 30 minutes.
- Slice a few slits in the top of the Brie.
- Sprinkle fresh thyme over the Brie.
- Roll out the puff pastry and place the Brie in the center.
- Fold the pastry over the cheese and pinch to secure.
- Brush the outside with an egg wash for shine (optional).
- Bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Once baked, drizzle honey over the top and garnish with thyme.
- Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.
Notes
Best enjoyed warm with a selection of crackers or fruits. You can add fruit preserves for extra sweetness.
