Ingredients
- 1 lb Broccoli Florets
- 4 slices Thick-Cut Bacon
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Butter or Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep the Broccoli: Wash and cut broccoli into bite-sized florets; let dry.
- Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add butter or olive oil. Once melted, sauté minced garlic for about a minute until golden.
- Add the Broccoli: Toss broccoli florets in garlic sauce, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender but bright green.
- Season and Serve: Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Crumble bacon on top and serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter dish, substitute turkey bacon; for vegetarian, omit bacon and use mushrooms instead.
