- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
- Gently fold in the chocolate sprinkles, reserving some for decoration.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Sprinkle extra chocolate sprinkles on top of each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers remain soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
