Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate sprinkles, reserving some for decoration.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Sprinkle extra chocolate sprinkles on top of each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers remain soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
