Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary), chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese and shred the cheddar in advance.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and cheddar until creamy.
- Stir in walnuts, cranberries, garlic, and herbs. Add honey if using.
- Cover and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Scoop a portion of the mixture and roll it into a ball.
- Coat the balls in crushed walnuts or fresh herbs.
- Chill again until ready to serve.
Notes
For a different twist, consider using goat cheese or pecans. Ensure to chill the mixture for the best texture.
