Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients and prepare the gelatin according to package instructions.
  2. Simmer the Cream: In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, sugar, and salt. Heat over medium until just about to simmer.
  3. Add Vanilla: Off the heat, split vanilla beans and scrape seeds into the mixture. Add the pods and steep for 15 minutes.
  4. Prepare the Gelatin: In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in cool water. Once it blooms, stir into the warm cream mixture.
  5. Strain and Pour: Strain the mixture into a pitcher. Pour into molds or glasses.
  6. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
