Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons oolong tea leaves
- 2 tablespoons gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Fresh grapes (red or green)
Instructions
- Brew the oolong tea by boiling 2 cups of water, steeping the tea leaves for about 5 minutes, then strain and let cool.
- Wash and slice the fresh grapes.
- Dissolve the gelatin by sprinkling it over 1/2 cup of cold water and letting it bloom for 5 minutes before gently heating it until fully dissolved.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled oolong tea, dissolved gelatin, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir until blended.
- Pour a little mixture into a cake pan to cover the bottom, sprinkle grapes over it, and let it set in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Pour the rest of the mixture on top with more grapes if desired.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until fully set.
- To serve, run a knife around the edge, invert onto a platter, slice, and serve chilled.
Notes
Let each layer of the cake set before adding more ingredients to ensure the texture is perfect.
