Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Grease the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, pudding mix, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until blended and gradually add hot water until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into the greased slow cooker and drizzle half of the caramel sauce over it.
- Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the caramel sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, avoiding opening the lid.
- Once done, let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Optional: serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Notes
For substitutions, you can use vanilla cake mix or gluten-free options. For added richness, replace regular butter with unsalted or coconut oil.
