Instructions
- Combine 2 cups of powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of heavy cream in a large mixing bowl.
- Slowly drizzle in 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract while mixing. Adjust the cream until the mixture is pliable but not sticky.
- Create small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill the balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Melt dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Dip each peppermint ball into the melted chocolate and return them to the parchment paper.
- Allow the chocolate to set and optionally sprinkle crushed peppermint candy on top before it hardens.
- Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
