Ingredients

  • Unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Combine 2 cups of powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of heavy cream in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Slowly drizzle in 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract while mixing. Adjust the cream until the mixture is pliable but not sticky.
  3. Create small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl.
  6. Dip each peppermint ball into the melted chocolate and return them to the parchment paper.
  7. Allow the chocolate to set and optionally sprinkle crushed peppermint candy on top before it hardens.
