Indulge in rich, fudgy brownies topped with fluffy marshmallow frosting, creating the perfect sweet treat for gatherings and family delights.

  • Total Time: 40
  • Yield: 16 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, melt the butter and whisk in the cocoa powder until smooth.
  3. Stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined, and then add the eggs one at a time.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and mix again.
  5. Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Once cooled, prepare the frosting by combining fluff marshmallows with softened butter and vanilla, then whip until fluffy.
  9. Spread frosting over the cooled brownies and torch slightly for a toasted flavor (optional).

Notes

For a lighter version, swap butter with unsweetened applesauce. Add chocolate chips or nuts for an extra layer of flavor.
