  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 16 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate, semi-sweet or bittersweet
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in granulated and brown sugars until combined.
  4. Mix in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in flour and cocoa powder without overmixing.
  6. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan and pour the brownie mixture into it, smoothing it out.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. While cooling, whip together marshmallow fluff, powdered sugar, and a splash of vanilla until creamy.
  9. Once the brownies are cool, spread the marshmallow frosting generously on top.
  10. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

Allow brownies to cool before frosting to keep the frosting fluffy.
