Ingredients
- 1 cup dark chocolate, semi-sweet or bittersweet
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup marshmallow fluff
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in granulated and brown sugars until combined.
- Mix in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
- Gently fold in flour and cocoa powder without overmixing.
- Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan and pour the brownie mixture into it, smoothing it out.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- While cooling, whip together marshmallow fluff, powdered sugar, and a splash of vanilla until creamy.
- Once the brownies are cool, spread the marshmallow frosting generously on top.
- Slice into squares and serve.
Notes
Allow brownies to cool before frosting to keep the frosting fluffy.
