Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- Green Food Coloring
- Sprinkles and Icing for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the unsalted butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl until fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. Add green food coloring and mix thoroughly.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough to about 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface and cut out tree shapes.
- Place cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before decorating with icing and sprinkles.
