Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup Toasted Hazelnuts
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in both sugars until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and sea salt; gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the toasted hazelnuts.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared dish and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes. A toothpick should come out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Allow to cool in the pan before lifting out and slicing.
