A refreshing and vibrant lemonade made with dragon fruit and fresh lemons, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe dragon fruit, cut into cubes
  • ¾ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup sweetener (honey, agave syrup, or a sugar substitute)
  • 2-3 cups water (still or sparkling)
  • Optional garnish: Fresh mint leaves or slices of lemon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dragon Fruit: Cut the dragon fruit in half and scoop out the flesh, cutting it into cubes.
  2. Juice the Lemons: Squeeze fresh lemon juice until you have about ¾ cup, straining to remove seeds.
  3. Blend and Strain: In a blender, combine dragon fruit cubes and lemon juice with water. Blend until smooth, and strain if desired.
  4. Sweeten: Return to the blender or transfer to a pitcher. Add sweetener to taste.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Fill glasses with ice, pour the lemonade over it, and garnish with mint or lemon slices. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a lower-sugar version, use stevia or monk fruit. Adjust sweetness to personal preference.
