Ingredients
- 1 lb Boneless Chicken Breast or Thighs
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Fresh Black Pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: Cut chicken into strips, place in buttermilk and soak for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the Breading: In a separate bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the Chicken: Drain buttermilk from chicken strips and coat in the breading mixture.
- Heat the Oil: In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat until hot.
- Fry the Chicken: Fry chicken strips in batches for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain on Paper Towels: Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and sides.
