Ingredients
- 1 pound ground meat (beef, pork, or turkey)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- Fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or rosemary), chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, and herbs.
- Form small meatballs, about 1-2 inches in diameter, and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and slightly crispy.
- In a saucepan, heat cranberry sauce and BBQ sauce over medium heat until warm.
- Gently toss meatballs in the sauce and simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley or green onions.
Notes
For consistent sizing, use a cookie scoop when forming meatballs. You can also freeze cooked meatballs for later enjoyment.
