- 1 cup dried figs, chopped
- 1 cup dried apricots, chopped
- 1 cup dried dates, chopped
- 1 cup almonds, finely chopped
- 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the dried fruits and nuts finely.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped dried fruits, nuts, and spices. Use your hands to mix thoroughly.
- Drizzle in honey or maple syrup and add orange zest. Stir until mixture becomes sticky.
- Roll small portions of mixture into bite-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- If desired, roll in coconut flakes or powdered sugar.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Serve in a beautiful dish or package as gifts.
