Ingredients
- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups chocolate melting wafers or chips
- Sprinkles for decoration
- Aluminum foil or parchment paper
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or with a rolling pin until they resemble fine crumbs.
- In a mixing bowl, blend the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until fully combined and smooth.
- Scoop out small amounts of the mixture and roll them into tree shapes or use cookie cutters.
- Place the shaped cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or in the microwave until fully melted.
- Dip each cookie into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the tops with colorful decorations.
- Allow the chocolate to cool and harden at room temperature for about an hour.
- Once set, place cookies on a platter and enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to substitute cream cheese with mascarpone for a richer flavor, and use dark chocolate for a bolder taste. These cookies can be frozen for up to two months.
