A delightful treat that combines rich dark chocolate with the bold flavor of roasted espresso beans, perfect for snacking or sharing.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole roasted espresso beans
  • 8 oz dark chocolate (or semi-sweet/white if preferred)
  • Cocoa powder or toppings (optional, e.g. crushed nuts, sea salt)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread uncoated espresso beans on a parchment-lined baking sheet and roast for 5-7 minutes to enhance flavor.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, add chopped chocolate and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  3. Add the roasted espresso beans to the melted chocolate and stir until fully coated.
  4. Using a fork or slotted spoon, lift the coated beans out and let excess chocolate drip off before placing them back on the parchment paper.
  5. If desired, sprinkle with cocoa powder or toppings before the chocolate sets.
  6. Allow them to cool at room temperature or place in the refrigerator for quicker hardening.
  7. Once hardened, transfer to an airtight container for storage.

Notes

Experiment with different types of chocolate and toppings to find your perfect flavor combination.
